An Indian infrastructure company reported a strong financial performance for FY26, driven by higher project execution, disciplined cost management, and robust order inflows across key highway projects. Adani Group is set to invest Rs 1 lakh crore in the large-scale redevelopment of Motilal Nagar in Mumbai, marking one of the most ambitious urban transformation projects in India. Spanning 143 acres in Goregaon, the project will generate approximately 28 lakh square meters of built-up area. Of this, a substantial portion will be allocated to existing residents and authorities, while around 17 lakh square meters will be available for commercial sale.

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd has operationalized a 1,000 MW high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission link connecting Kudus and Aarey, marking a significant milestone in Mumbai’s energy infrastructure. Developed by its subsidiary, Adani Electricity Mumbai Infrastructure Ltd, the project is designed to enhance power reliability in one of India’s most densely populated urban regions. The advanced transmission system, featuring a mix of overhead and underground corridors, enables the city to draw electricity from external sources, including renewable energy.

The World Bank has approved a USD 225 million (approximately Rs. 1,875 crore) loan to support a major highway modernization initiative in Rajasthan. Delhi has introduced stricter regulations governing the supply of commercial LPG cylinders, mandating businesses to adopt or apply for piped natural gas (PNG) connections in areas where such infrastructure exists. The move aims to streamline fuel distribution, enhance safety, and accelerate the shift toward cleaner energy alternatives. Under the revised framework, only registered commercial and industrial consumers who comply with PNG application requirements will be eligible for LPG supply.
